Think Like a Producer-How to Get Free Media Time, by Cynthia Brian ©2004 Big publicity can make a busy interior designer.  Each of us can get free media time with the proper approach, a skill we can learn.  Since we only get on chance to make a first impression, it is mandatory to create an appropriate media persona in advance. Think like a producer: ask yourself what will grab your audience, what will bring in the ratings and what will provide "edu-tainment", or education combined with entertainment, with copious amounts of humor thrown in for good measure.
